I started out about 5 years ago thinking that there are certain things I CAN’T do!
In the past 4 years I have completed 5 marathons, 3 Ironman triathlons, two 50 mile ultra-marathons and the Western States 100 mile ultra-marathon.
These experiences have created many wonderful memories with my wife, Leona, friends and family. Most importanlty I have realized one simple but important truth...Rocky’s trainer, Mickey, said it best...“There AIN’T no CAN’T!”

Most recently I completed a 17 day run (883 kim) across my home province of Newfoundland via the old railway track. The Race Across the Rock started out as an idea I had to share an adventure with my dad, Wayne. And what an adventure it was...we all have memories of the excursion that will last a lifetime. After all, isn’t that what life is all about? Also, we were able to raise donations and awareness for mental health...such a great cause.
The run across Newfoundland was another step in my journey...my journey to see just what I can accomplish if I commit to doing something and BELIEVE in myself. We are all capable of so much. Somtimes we need to ask for help but I know from experience that there are a lot of people that are willing to give that help...myself included.
One last thought...I am no different from YOU...if I can accomplish what I once thought was impossible...so can YOU! Is today your day to Commit to Fit?
Let me know if I can help!
All the best,
Jason
